1. General Instructions
- Before applying for admission, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective course.
- Applications must be submitted online only through the Chancellor Portal: https://universities.jharkhand.gov.in
- Application Fee: ₹400/- (Non-refundable) for all categories.
- Separate application forms must be submitted for each course.
- Admission is based on merit prepared from Intermediate (UG), Graduation (PG), and Interview marks.
- In case of a tie, the older candidate (based on Date of Birth) will receive higher merit.
- Admission is final only after verification of eligibility and required documents.
- Admissions remain provisional until University registration is completed.
- Providing false information or failing document verification may result in cancellation of admission.
- Late applications may be accepted only if seats remain vacant.
- Ensure all information entered on the Chancellor Portal is correct before submission.
- Incomplete, incorrect, or duplicate applications may be rejected.
- Candidates should regularly visit www.jrsu.ac.in and the Chancellor Portal for updates.
- Download and preserve the submitted application form and payment receipt.
- Admission fees must be paid within the stipulated period.
- The University reserves the right to modify admission procedures, eligibility, or schedules without prior notice.
- Ragging or any malpractice is strictly prohibited and punishable as per law.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY AND EMPLOYABILITY
After completing the graduation course a student may prefer to go for higher studies in the select field.
The students after successful completion of the course will get weightage in recruitment in police department of the Govt. of Jharkhand depending upon the academic performance of the student as per the circular no 16-07-2017 6004 dated 08-11-2017 issued by Dept. of Home, Jail and Disaster Management (Home), Govt. of Jharkhand.
SCHOLARSHIP
Students of OBC, ST, SC will be eligible for scholarship benefits as per the scheme of the Govt.
UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
The University has a provision of providing scholarship to deserving students.
